TAMPA, FL – Sweetlax Lacrosse has tabbed Brett Moyer, one of the most decorated lacrosse players in the last generation, as the Director of the Tampa Snooks, a new Sweetlax Regional Program.
As Director of the Tampa Snooks, Moyer will oversee the growth of regional club teams while seeking to serve the player development needs of a young and thriving Tampa lacrosse community. Moyer will also bring his expertise to the nationally competitive Sweetlax Florida and Sweetlax Krakens state-wide teams. Lastly, as a former professional in the NLL, Moyer’s extensive background in Box Lacrosse will help Sweetlax Florida in the launch of box lacrosse programming.
“I am excited for the opportunity to continue sharing the game I love with talented young athletes here in Tampa and around the state of Florida,” said Moyer. “Sweetlax has emerged as one of the most successful clubs in the country and I’m excited to use that platform to coach, teach and positively impact young lacrosse players here in Tampa and around the state of Florida.”

“Brett is a great teacher of the game, he is going to help us develop our players, but we also want to think really hard about how we can utilize him to assist high school and youth coaches around the state with their own professional development,” said Kevin Martin, Sweetlax Co-Founder and Director of Recruiting. “He also understands the box game, which is the strongest trend in player development right now, Brett will play an integral role in our effort to develop box lacrosse programming.”
